Nickelodeon Universe, Mall of America: Top Rides for Small Kids
Nickelodeon Universe is an indoor amusement park that features attractions and rides based on famous Nickelodeon shows. We went to one of their two locations – Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.
My family went to Nickelodeon Universe with my cousins Charles and Luke, and my Auntie Leila.
Nickelodeon Universe Mall of America Tickets

We bought our tickets at Nickelodeon Universe already. It was fast and easy to buy tickets there.
Swipers Sweeper
Swipers Sweeper looks like a relaxing ride at first but it’s actually very exciting. It starts off slowly before it “whips” you quickly so the swiper will not be able to get you.
I was a bit scared during the “whips” of this ride but my little brother was just laughing
Carousel
The carousel is a classic theme park ride and we had fun on it! I chose to ride a pink and purple horse with a beard. I thought it looked funny!
There are different “creatures” on this carousel that you can choose. My brother rode a giant cat with a fish in its mouth!
⭐ Tip! Make sure you choose one that is hanging and goes up and down because it’s more fun!
Blue’s Skidoo
The Blue’s Skidoo ride is cute and fun. You can choose to fly through the air with Blue or Magenta from Blue’s Clues.
My cousin Charles and I sat together again for this ride. You can make it go higher if you want the ride to be more exciting.
Back at the Barnyard
Back at the Barnyard is a rollercoaster for small kids! I sat beside my dad because it look scary but it was actually fun when the ride started.
Big Rigs
Big Rigs is like a small truck ride where you can choose to sit inside the truck or at the back. My little brother really liked this ride because he loves trucks!
You can also see a big roller coaster above you.
La Adventura de Azul
La Adventura de Azul is a relaxing train ride that goes on a circle track.
Adventure Bay
Adventure Bay is a big playground with different vehicles, slides, and obstacle courses. Even the rock in the middle is a slide! There are also higher slides for more adventurous kids.
This is one of my favorite attractions in the Nickelodeon Universe!
Meet and Greet
We went to a meet and greet with Blue from Blue’s Clues and he was so cute!
I really enjoyed exploring Nickelodeon Universe!
There are a lot of exciting and relaxing rides there for small kids like me. It was also my first time trying a rollercoaster! There were also a lot of good restaurants in Mall of America and we can easily go back inside Nickelodeon Universe after eating.
